I don’t know about you but I will be glad to see the back of January! I really do get down in the dumps in January. So what better theme for this months blog hop than January blues 💙
Blue is such a fab colour and it’s been great to experiment with all the stampin’ up! blues.
I used this gorgeous cupcake stamp set to make my first card. In pool party it looks delicious, topped off with embossing paste and glitter. The blue butterfly I cut out of the botanical butterfly dsp and inked up in blue.

I ordered floral romance bundle from the new spring summer catalogue as I loved its colours and romantic feel.
This set is often teamed up with petal pink and soft sea foam so I totally mixed things up with a water colour pool party and night of navy mix.
I embossed the flowery stamp in white onto shimmer card and inked away with my aqua painter.
The shimmer card is amazing and makes water-colouring so easy!
Next I used the forever lovely set and instead of sticking to pink tones I once again used the blues.
The flower stamp in this set is beautiful and looks very vintage.
I used the lace dynamic embossing folder for the backing.
I couldn’t resist a little petal pink to cheer January up!
