Wedding season

So the wedding season is in full swing so I thought what better time to do a class based around a wedding theme.

The first project was this vintage wedding card using my fav colours petal pink and mint macaron. I chose to use some dsp from natures poem as it just screams romance with the textured back ground and minty green leaves. I measured out a small strip and attached to white card. I find this is a good way to use dsp as it makes it last longer and it’s not too over powering but adds a vibrant touch to cards. The next strip is much thinner and I chose glimmer paper in sparkle. I then used the petal palette stamp set and framelits. I used gray granite for the outline as looks softer than black, using my aqua painter I added petal pink and mint macaron. The sentiment is mounted on crumb cake cut with a stitched framelit. Finished off with white polka dot ribbon 🖤

Next we used the amazing new petal promenade dsp. Oh my this is so beautiful up close.

Using the white card and detailed floral thinlits tied with polka dot ribbon and a flower this makes such a pretty card.

Both these cards are quite versatile and can be used for weddings, engagements and anniversaries 💕

Next up is this cute little confetti pillow box.

Made with sweet smelling petals 🌸 we used the gorgeous big flower from beautiful day and embossed in gold. Using the blenders just add a little colour, gradually building it up at the edges. Add some polka dot ribbon and you’re good to go!

“Throw kindness around like confetti”

The take home treat today to enjoy was a chocolate lolly with a big glittery initial on 🖤

Hope you get some crafty time soon.
